Desmond Lomax Wendy Rush

Wendy Rush, CLC, HBPLC, CPSE, CD, BS is a Breastfeeding Educator through Childbirth International and a Lactation Consultant through Childbirth International. She received her postpartum doula training through Midwives College of Utah and has been serving clients throughout Utah and Salt Lake Counties. Her presentation at the Positive Birth Group was so well received, and we have the honor of having her present to us!

There is so much support for pregnant and laboring women. But what happens after the woman gives birth?  Couples work for months to save, plan, and prepare for labor, but do they even think about postpartum care? Women all over this county, and the world struggle with postpartum blues and depression. Saving, planning, and preparing for the postpartum period can help a woman transition into motherhood with confidence and power.
